Abstract

In the article "Bank Insolvency Characteristics of the Bank" insolvency is presented as a liquidation proceeding which is heavily influenced by the Central Bank supervisory, restructuring and regulatory functions. The Deposit Insurance Fund powers exercised over receiver have their own administrative impact upon the insolvency procedure as well. The most efficient way for ending the insolvency proceeding is a sale of the failed bank to another bank.
